
Glenda Gracia-Rivera Glenda Gracia-Rivera is the Associate Director of Education and Career Development Programs at the Center for Women & Work, Rutgers University. In this role, she is responsible for directing many of the Nontraditional Career Resource Center’s programs and services, including the Career Summer Institute (CSI), and The Academy of Leadership & Excellence (T.A.L.E.).
Glenda has a proven track record of developing and implementing pioneer programs within diverse, human service provider settings. Prior to coming to the Center for Women & Work, she was with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families, where she served as the Student Development Initiatives Coordinator in the Office of Education. Glenda has also worked for the Children’s Home Society of New Jersey in Trenton, and FOCUS Hispanic Community Center in Newark, where she was responsible for implementing various human service and youth development programs. Her areas of expertise include professional development & training, student development & instruction, curriculum development, diversity awareness, community relations, and program management. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and a Master of Public Administration in Non-Profit Management, from Seton Hall University. She also sits on several advisory boards for local community organizations.
Glenda has been proud to serve as the catalyst for new initiatives in the past, and hopes to continuously bring about original and innovative processes toward the achievement of the CWW’s mission, goals, and objectives.
